Congratulations NHSA 2008/09 Girls And Winter Soccer Signups

By Damon Ninham and Nicole Rapp

Fall sports are coming to an end and the dreadful Ohio winter is approaching. Have a child who loves soccer and sad to see the season end? Soccer does not have to end, NHSA currently has registration open for their Winter 1 session.  NHSA is looking for both male and female players.  They would love to kick off a new class of young travel soccer players.  The program is currently looking for 8 – 10-year-old players.  Winter is a great opportunity for players that love soccer, to continue to build on their Fall season and be prepared for the Spring.  This winter the program will train at the local soccer club Ambassador’s home field, Rothenbuhler Cheesemakers Arena. Most winter games will likely be played at NC Hudson.

NHSA (Nordonia Hills Soccer Association)

Haven’t heard of NHSA?  NHSA serves as the feeder soccer program for our Nordonia community.  The program offers soccer 11 months out of the year and most of our high school players have played within the NHSA program at some point or another.  According to NHSA, “The Mission of the Nordonia Soccer Community is to provide a safe learning environment for our youth soccer players.  By providing this environment, our children will have the opportunity to grow to love the game of soccer and take with it the experiences.  These experiences will hopefully lead to confidence when meeting adversity and knowing they are capable of overcoming these challenges and succeeding in their experiences”.  Participants within the program range in age from 8 -15.  Players looking to be challenged and take the next step in their soccer experience, will enjoy the challenge the program provides.

NHSA STAFF

NHSA has a devoted and experienced coaching staff but is always looking for volunteers who share their goals/mission of the organization to help with various tasks.  The program consists of volunteers and are always looking for passionate individuals that want to make a difference in their community.  These individuals do not have to be from a soccer background.  Most of the staff come from all professional backgrounds but one trait that is common in all of them, they want to make Nordonia proud.

HOW TO REGISTER?
