Charles R. “Charlie” Poulton, age 86 of Macedonia, Ohio, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2023. He was the beloved husband of the late Dolores A. (nee Mielke) for 57 years; loving father of Charles Andrew (Daniela) Poulton and Robert A. (Jennifer) Poulton; cherished grandfather of Andrew, Nicholas, Anna, Grace, and Benjamin; and beloved son of the late Charles A. and Ima Mae Poulton.
Charlie proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and later worked as a sales representative for The American Chicle Company for over 25 years. He enjoyed traveling across the country with Dolores in their RV and was a lifelong fan of Cleveland sports teams through all of their ups and downs. Charlie loved to talk and laugh and made friends wherever he went.
Memorial contributions may be made in Charles’ name in memory of his wife, Dolores, to the Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org). The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Johnson-Romito Funeral Home, 99 W. Aurora Rd.
