OBITUARY: FLOYD “PETE” McRITCHIE

FLOYD “PETE” McRITCHIE; age 91; Life long resident of Macedonia; Beloved husband, for 65 years, of the late Betty (nee Brown); Loving father of Alan (Renee), James (Amy) and Bill (Sandy); devoted grandfather of 9 and great-grandfather to 8; Son to the late Floyd and Lorna; brother to the late Opal Eleo (Frank), the late Donna Crowe (Ray) and a dear friend of many. Pete was a graduate of Macedonia High School before serving in the Marine Corps, the Macedonia Fire Department and retiring as the Chief of Police in Macedonia. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police #108; 65 year member of Summit Masonic Lodge 213; Scottish Rite member, Valley of Akron; Member of Nordonia Hills American Legion #801; Past President of Nordonia Hills Booster Club and a member of the Nordonia Hills Athletic Hall of Fame. Family suggests memorial contributions in his name to Nordonia Hills Veterans Memorial Park Foundation, NHVMP, P.O. Box 560165, Macedonia, OH 44056.
