James “Jimmy” Loar, age 75 of Broadview Heights passed away at home, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, September 27, 2022.  He was #1 Welder (Tool & Die / Maintenance) for Ford Motor Company for over 46 years.  Jim was a family man.  He was loving, loyal, kindhearted, and caring with a great sense of humor.  His laugh was contagious and he told the best jokes and stories.  He was a very hardworking man and would enjoy fixing stuff around the house with his son.  He loved western movies, Andy Griffith Show and listening to music.  He loved his garden, doing yard work, canning vegetables and enjoyed good food.  The most important thing in his life was his family, he loved them and always put them first.  If Jim wasn’t working, he loved spending time with his family that loved him so much.

He will be dearly missed by his beloved Wife of 53 years, Barbara; loving Father of Tracy (Brad) DeVries, Jennifer Loar, Valene (Chas) Tabone, and Justin Loar (Fiancé Muriel); dear Grandfather of Alexandria, Jack, and Viviana; sister of Judy Zust (deceased) and Shirley DiFeo.
