The Nordonia High School Drama Club will present Five by Ives: an evening of plays by David Ives, as this year’s fall production. The production will feature a collection of five short one-act comedic plays, each one focusing on every day people who come into some truly unique, and sometimes bizarre, encounters.
Taking on the directing responsibilities for this year’s production are several Nordonia Drama seniors, overseen by Nordonia’s Director of Drama, Chris Simmons. Rehearsing in small groups and adhering to all precautions, our cast is looking forward to being back on stage, live in front of an audience. This year’s show is comprised of a cast of eighteen actors, under the direction of: Andrew Hawkins, Leah Jackson, Stella Naymik, Hadassah Rayle and Chris Simmons. Everyone is hard at work putting together an enjoyable night of live theatre for all!
Performances for Five by Ives are currently scheduled for: Saturday, November 6th at 8:00 PM and Sunday, November 7th, at 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM, in the high school auditorium. All audience members will be required to wear a mask, regardless of vaccination status.
Ticket reservations will go live on Monday, October 11th. Tickets are $10 each, and are general admission. Audiences will be limited to 100 people maximum per performance, so reservations in advance are recommended.
