This was the second road setback for the Nordonia Varsity Girls Basketball team this season, and it came in a tough game against the dangerous Wadsworth Grizzlies. With a 58-23 victory over the Lady Knights, Wadsworth continued its winning streak and is currently enjoying a perfect season. Wadsworth is now 4-0 in league play and 6-0 on the season thanks to this victory.
Starting the game with a quick tempo and displaying their formidable skills, Wadsworth established a dominating lead in the first quarter. In the following quarters, the Grizzlies kept adding to their lead as Nordonia struggled to find their groove against their opponents’ aggressive play. Despite Nordonia’s efforts in the second half to balance the game, Wadsworth’s early advantage proved insurmountable.
For Nordonia, the match was a tough lesson in the face of a strong adversary. The Lady Knights, now holding a 1-5 record, are undoubtedly looking to recalibrate and come back stronger in their upcoming games.
