On December 24, 2018, a 56 year old Cuyahoga Falls man was involved in a motor vehicle accident on I-271 in which he struck a Macedonia Police Department cruiser. A Macedonia Police Officer was injured in the accident. The Summit County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene and subsequently charged James Marshall with several misdemeanor crimes including Operating a Vehicle While Under the Influence of Alcohol. The Sheriff’s Office initiated an investigation into the incident.
On January 15, 2019, James Marshall was charged with Aggravated Vehicular Assault (F-3). Marshall was arrested and booked into the Summit Count Jail.
