Since being built in 2010, Nordonia’s William Boliantz Stadium has been home to a State Runner-Up Championship football team, a nationally acclaimed marching band, numerous All-State Track and Field athletes, Northeast Ohio’s Special Olympics, and thousands of our community’s youth sport athletes. The safety, maintenance, and financial benefits to turf athletic fields are exactly why when the stadium was built 11 years ago, stakeholders decided turf was the best option for these athletes and our school district. However, like any surface over time, turf needs to be replaced in order to maintain those benefits. After 11 years, it’s time to turf!
