The OHSAA District Meet was held at Nordonia this past week from 5/19 – 5/21. Both the Nordonia Boys and Girls teams put up a good show by placing #3 (Boys) and #8 (Girls) overall. The Boys team tied with Walsh Jesuit and was .5 away from tying with Stow for 2nd place. Some of the top finishers for the Girls team were: High Jump: #3 Taniah Thomas, Pole Vault: #3 Emily Eterovich, Shot Put: #3 Divine Godspower-Odiong. Some of the top finishers for the Boys team were: 300 Meter Hurdles: #1 Matthew Hayes, 4×200 Meter Relay: #1 Nordonia, High Jump: #1 Ridwan Umar, #2 Matthew Hayes, Pole Vault: #3 Alex Hungerford
