County receives $900,000 from sale of Cleveland-Massillon Rd property

SUMMIT COUNTY, OHIO—Summit County Executive Ilene Shapiro’s office recently finalized the sale of a former Development Disabilities Board location for $900,000. The nearly eight-acre property, located at 340 N. Cleveland-Massillon Rd in Bath Township, was no longer needed due to changes in federal law that prevent the DD Board from providing direct services to residents. The property was purchased by TKM Global Technologies. The proceeds of the sale will go to the DD Board as compensation for improvements and investments made to property.
