As the 2023 Ice Hockey season continues, the Nordonia Knights are continuing to roll through their season coming up with some big wins.
On Sunday December 3, 2023, the Knights played against Orange High School at home and won the game by a final score of 7-2.
In this game, Owen Tindall had a hat trick with three goals, while Brett Rapp had two assists. Preston Kanar also had a great day at goalie with 19 saves.

“They really came together to play as a team”, says Head Coach Rich Cinalli. “This win against Orange was a Blue South Division game, which now evens out the division for everyone after this win”.
The Knights next matchup was Friday December 8, 2023, on the road to Winterhurst Ice Rink to take on Bay High School who was undefeated at the time.
The Ice Hockey Knights went on to win this game over Bay High School by a final score of 10-4.
In this game, Jacob Waite had a hat trick, while both Noah Vega and Owen Tindall had three assists. Many other team players in this game had two assists.
Patrick McNally had his first ever career goal against Bay and also earned a green helmet for receiving outstanding play. Head Coach Rich Cinalli said that McNally was pumped to get his first goal.
The Knights continued their winning streak as they next defeated Normandy High School on Sunday December 10, 2023, by a final score of 7-2. Even though this was a non-league game, this was still an important game for the Knights to take care of business.
The Ice Hockey Knights’ next game will be Sunday December 16, 2023, against Chagrin Falls High School, which will be a rematch for the two teams. Puck drop for this game will begin at 6:40p.m.
After their rematch against Chagrin Falls, the Knights will rematch Bay High School which will be Sunday December 17, 2023, at 7:10p.m.
Another look to a future for the Knights, Wednesday December 20,2023, the Knights will travel to Garfield to play Twinsburg High School at 6:00p.m. These two teams will rematch each other quickly after the game on the 20th as they will face off again Friday December 22, 2023, at 7:20p.m.
The season has been looking well for the Knights! It will be interesting to see this team play these upcoming games as they look to continue their winning streak.
