Don’t let these doggies be stuck on the Island of Misfit Toys this Christmas! The Pawlidays are here, adoption fees at Summit County Animal Control are reduced to $28 for dogs (regularly $96) and $5 for cats (regularly $60), and there are still many puppy dog eyes searching for their presents under the tree!
Meet a few of these cuties: Mark, Ella, and Johnny.
Don’t let Mark’s gray beard fool you! This young man is approximately seven years old, and just recently entered Animal Control’s facility. He is excited for the holidays but being in unfamiliar surroundings with so many strangers is difficult on anyone, especially Mark. He is still holding out hope for the top thing on his wish list: Christmas morning snuggles in his fur-ever home!
Ella’s been a resident of Animal Control for over seven months, but her holiday cheer can’t be stifled by anything! The happiest dog at Animal Control—she prances when she runs and loves to play. While her resilience is inspiring, she’d love nothing more than to find some tasty treats in her stocking!
Finally, Johnny is currently the longest resident of Animal Control, with over a year under his belt. He is a three-year-old volunteer favorite! Johnny is full of energy, and wishes for nothing more than to jump for joy when his mom or dad get home after a long day of holiday activities & family fun.
All dogs and cats are fully vetted, which includes bloodwork, flea treatments, intestinal de-worming, spay or neuter, and vaccinations, microchipped, and ready to be taken home. All dog adoptions through the end of 2024 will include a 2025 Summit County Dog License.
Help make Mark, Ella, or Johnny’s Christmas wishes come true by adding one of these sweet, smiley pups to your forever family!
