Twinsburg Fire responded to nine calls for service during the severe thunderstorm on April 2nd, and one the calls was for a house fire on Meadowood Boulevard. All occupants were able to exit the house prior to fire department’s arrival. The cause is presumed to be a lightning strike which was caught on a neighbor’s Ring camera.
Twinsburg was assisted by Solon, Reminderville, Aurora, Streetsboro fire departments along, with Hudson EMS. One firefighter sustained a minor injury.
The homeowners would like to thank the neighbors for their outpouring support and generosity during their time of need.
