Hockey Season Preview: Knights Hit the Ice
With football wrapped up, attention now turns to the rink as Nordonia’s hockey team gears up to begin their 2025–2026 season. The Knights will open play on November 15 against Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin, marking the start of what promises to be a competitive and exciting winter campaign.
Girls Basketball Gears Up for a New Season
The girls basketball team is also preparing for an exciting season ahead, with their first game scheduled for November 21 against Strongsville High School. After weeks of preseason training and hard work, the Knights are ready to return to the court and make their mark. There will be two returning senior guards Taylor Morgan and Hadyn Paul Coach Ryan says”They both bring scoring and defensive leadership to the court as we bring in some young players to our varsity roster.”
This year’s focus has been on improving defensive communication, sharpening offensive execution, and fostering teamwork both during games and in practice. Coaches have praised the players for their dedication and positive attitude as they prepare for what promises to be a competitive schedule.
Senior leaders have been instrumental in guiding the younger athletes, ensuring that the team remains motivated and cohesive. With a balance of experience and fresh talent, the Knights look to build momentum early and maintain it throughout the season.
Closing Thoughts: The Spirit of Nordonia
As the fall sports season comes to an end and the winter season begins, Nordonia High School extends its appreciation to all players, coaches, families, and supporters who make these programs possible. Every athlete’s effort and every fan’s encouragement contribute to the strong sense of pride that defines Nordonia athletics.
We look forward to seeing continued success across all sports as the school year progresses. Congratulations to the football team for a memorable season, and best of luck to our hockey and basketball teams as they begin their next chapters.
