They bounced back quickly, delivering a solid and well-earned victory against Cleveland Heights.
This win highlights the team’s ability to regroup, adjust, and respond under pressure—qualities that will be essential as they move deeper into their schedule. Coaches and players alike remain confident that the lessons learned early on will contribute to steady improvement throughout the season. Fans can look forward to more competitive battles as the Knights work toward building consistency on both ends of the ice.
Girls Basketball Tips Off the Season

Following hockey, attention shifts to the girls basketball program, which is preparing for an exciting start to its regular season. The girls open their schedule with a matchup against Strongsville, a game that is sure to set the tone for the months ahead.

The team has been working hard during preseason practices, sharpening their skills, strengthening team chemistry, and setting goals for the year. Players are eager to finally hit the court, put their preparation into action, and show the progress they have made. With returning leaders and enthusiastic new contributors, the roster is poised for growth, energy, and competitive gameplay.

The coaching staff has emphasized discipline, communication, and teamwork, and the girls are fully committed to carrying those values into every game. This season opener promises to bring excitement and momentum as the Knights officially begin their journey.
Bowling Gets Rolling This Saturday

Rounding out the athletic updates for the week, the Nordonia bowling team is ready to launch its season. Competition begins this Saturday, and the bowlers are looking forward to stepping back into the lanes with focus and confidence.
