Despite Fewer Hits, Stow-Munroe Falls Beats Nordonia Knights 6 – 3

Nordonia Knights out-hit Stow-Munroe Falls seven to five, but it wasn’t enough in a 6-3 loss on Tuesday

Nordonia Knights got on the board in the first inning when Jacob Shirk doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Jambor earned the victory on the hill for Stow-Munroe Falls. The ace allowed six hits and three runs over four innings, striking out seven. Barnes and #5 entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Hunter Grams took the loss for Nordonia Knights. The hurler surrendered six runs on four hits over four and a third innings, striking out eight and walking one.

Shirk went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Nordonia Knights in hits.

Lehner led Stow-Munroe Falls with two hits in three at bats. Stow-Munroe Falls didn’t commit a single error in the field. Kalpac had the most chances in the field with ten.
