Fall Season: Nordonia Cross Country – The Varsity Girls Place 5th at Bruce Lerch Invitational

The Varsity Cross Country Girls from Nordonia participated in the prestigious Bruce Lerch Invitational held at Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School. The Nordonia Girls Cross Country team secured a total of 154 points, earning them a respectable 5th place out of 14 competing schools.

Leading the way was Olivia May, who earned 11 points and secured the 12th position. Sofia Bonanno placed 29th, and Ella Bonanno closely followed in 30th, contributing 28 and 29 points, respectively, and establishing themselves as prominent runners for the Knights. Olivia May completed the race in 21:15.90, Sofia in 22:28.00, and Ella crossed the finish line in 22:31.30.

Other notable scorers for the Lady Knights included Olivia Pecic (22:42.10), Sarah Sedor (23:44.90), and Olivia Ross (24:35.70). Olivia Pecic finished 35th, adding 34 points; Sarah Sedor claimed 57th with 52 points; and Olivia Ross secured 76th place with 62 points.
