The Nordonia Hills Branch Library will temporarily close Aug. 1, 2026, for renovations expected to last approximately one year, with a anticipated reopening in Summer 2027.
Akron-Summit County Public Library Executive Director Michelle Alleman shared the news with the Northfield Center Township Trustees at their June meeting. The project is funded by a capital bond issue approved by voters in 2025.
