Twinsburg Varsity Tigers couldn’t keep up with Brecksville-Broadview Heights Varsity Bees and fell 16-7 on Monday.
Brecksville-Broadview Heights Varsity Bees opened the scoring in the top of the first thanks to two singles. Brecksville-Broadview Heights Varsity Bees first got on the board when Tess Cozza singled, scoring two runs.
Brecksville-Broadview Heights Varsity Bees scored five runs on four hits in the top of the second inning. Cassie Costin hit a solo home run to left field, Gianna Roth doubled, scoring one run, Cozza singled, scoring two runs, and Gabby Rowan laid down a sacrifice bunt, scoring one run.

T. Peiris, M. Sweeney, and P. Sweeney each collected two hits for Twinsburg Varsity Tigers. Velican, Peiris, Sweeney, M. Riley, and A. Gurnak each drove in one run for Twinsburg Varsity Tigers.
Brecksville-Broadview Heights Varsity Bees accumulated 13 hits in the game. Cozza provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Brecksville-Broadview Heights Varsity Bees with six runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 2-for-5 on the day. Gianna Dasenbrook led Brecksville-Broadview Heights Varsity Bees with four hits in five at bats from the leadoff position.
