The Suburban League Championships were held at Nordonia this past week from 5/10 – 5/13. Teams from around the area attended the event: Twinsburg, Hudson, Wadsworth, Stow Cuyahoga Falls, North Royalton and Brecksville. Both the Nordonia Boys and Girls teams put up a good show by placing #4 (Boys) and #5 (Girls) overall. One of the highlights for Nordonia was Matthew Hayes who broke the track record for the 300 Meter Hurdles. He turned in a time of 38.49 beating the old record of 38.6.
