No Bones About It – Longwood Manor is About to Get Spooky!

The holidays are soon upon us, and Longwood Manor Historical Society (LMHS) will be doing their part in the celebrating! Longwood Manor events take place at 1634 East Aurora Road, Macedonia, 44056.

Starting off is everybody’s favorite spooky holiday, Halloween. Longwood Manor, in conjunction with Macedonia Parks and Recreation’s Trunk or Treat, takes a different style this year as it presents Skeletons Galore around the First Floor. Date for this event is Saturday, October 17th, from 4:30pm until 6:30pm. Kids of all ages feel free to attend. Is Longwood Manor haunted? Well, a lady ghost has been spotted in the upstairs windows!

Our final regular Open House for 2026 will be on Sunday, October 25th, from 1:00pm until 4:00pm. We feature tours of the Manor house, and the history of Longwood Manor and its former owner and first Mayor of Macedonia, Colonel William Frew Long. The second floor is now open for tours as well.

Sunday, December 13th, Longwood Manor will be dressed up for Christmas festivities at our Holiday Open House. Bring your family and take your Christmas photos by our fireplace or outside on the grounds! We promise a visit from that Someone Special from the North Pole. We’ll be featuring our Christmas Boutique for those last-minute gift purchases. Please join us from 1:00pm until 4:00pm.
