EDWARD H. STRNAD; 93, Died on August 28, 2023, Beloved husband of the late Coletta C. (Nee Kramer); Loving father of Allen E. (Jeanne), John E. “Jack” (Nancy), Chris Schwab (Tim),  Nancy A. Clemens (Charles), Nga Ngo (Nghia Bui), Cung P. Dang, and the late Hung Ngo (Tuyet Tran);  Cherished grandfather of Matthew A. (Melissa Murphy),  David A., Christopher A., Brian A. (Natalie Yahner), Gregory, Nicholas (Melissa Shih), Jill McMahon (Ryan), Laura Shin (Steve), Allison O’Malley (Sean), Trinh Luong (Steve), Mai Wolske (Christopher), Linh Short (Romell), Long Ngo, Quoc Ngo, Tommy Bui (Mai), and Timmy Bui (Aileen); Beloved great-grandfather of Walter M., Jennifer M., the late James M., Wendy J., Jessica D., Olivia R., Jack B., Avery, Zelda, Audrey, Julia, Molly Teagan, Sae Young, Quinn, Casey, Angel, Kingston, Richmond, Jonathon, Garrison, Callahan, Audrey, Casey, and Rodney; Predeceased by his 4 dear brothers and 6 sisters; Dear uncle and friend to many. Edward was a proud graduate of the Cathedral Latin Class of 1947, worked 15 years with Goodwill Industries handicap workshop and was the President of the St. Vincent DePaul Society of St. Pius Parish for 56 years. He was the Police Chaplain for Bedford and Maple Heights Police Departments, Clarinetist of the Cuyahoga Valley Concert Band, Eucharistic Minister at UH Bedford Hospital and then Ahuja Medical Center, a member of the Singer’s Club of Cleveland, a Gold Coat Ambassador at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport and volunteered at the Habitat for Humanity Restore Store. Family suggests memorial contributions in Eddie’s name to Womankind 5350 Transportation Blvd. Garfield Hts., OH 44125. Friends may call at the FERFOLIA FUNERAL HOME 356 W. AURORA RD (ST RT 82) SAGAMORE HILLS FOR VISITATION FRIDAY 4-8PM. All are asked to gather Saturday at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church 400 Center Rd. Bedford, Ohio  for  Visitation Saturday 9:30-10:00AM. Immediately followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Edward’s life at 10:00AM. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
