Celebrate the “Pawlidays” with Summit County Animal Control

SUMMIT COUNTY, OHIO—Summit County Executive Ilene Shapiro is inviting the community to celebrate the “Pawlidays” with Animal Control this holiday season! The Pawlidays adoption event will run from Monday, November 20 through Sunday, December 31 during which adoption costs will be reduced to $28 for dogs (regularly $94) and $5 for cats (regularly $60). The animals are fully vetted, which includes bloodwork, flea treatments, intestinal de-worming, spay or neuter, and vaccinations, microchipped and ready to be taken home.

Dog adoptions prior to December 1 will include a 2023 Summit County Dog License. Dog adoptions after December 1 will include a 2024 Summit County Dog License.
